Saturday, 8th November 2025...    Well done to all 923 runners!

On Saturday morning, sunshine and blue skies greeted 923 runners from 56 Bromley schools for the 70thrunning of the Bromley Primary Schools Cross-country Championships.

Congratulations to all the children completing the challenging new course in Crystal Palace Park and thanks to the teachers, family and friends for all your support. Special thanks to Gemma Turrell, Bromley Deputy Mayor and Liam Conlon, MP for Beckenham and Penge, for starting the races and presenting the medals and trophies.

In brief, the results were as follows:

Race 1 - Year 5 Girls (2,000m approx.) …….220 finishers

Winning individual – Mia Diago-Larkin (St. Mary's) 8:24 mins

Winning team – Bromley High

Race 2 - Year 5 Boys (2,000m approx.) …….258 finishers

Winning individual – Noah Olczak (Bickley Park) 7:50 mins

Winning team – Parish

Race 3 - Year 6 Girls (2,000m approx.) …….205 finishers

Winning individual – Aisling Kennedy (Darrick Wood) 7:40 mins

Winning team – St. Nicholas’

Race 4 - Year 6 Boys (2,000m approx.) …….240 finishers

Many congratulations to Blackheath and Bromley runner, Sam Reardon, for winning an Olympic bronze medal with the GB 4x400m mixed relay team in Paris. Well done, Sam!!!
